ROCK TOWN – FLAVOR GRAIN SERIES – BOURBON WHISKEY

Currently only available at the distillery, we’ve bottled two in the series so far, Sorghum and Barley.

Bourbon is usually made with rye or wheat as the flavor grain, but we decided to try to see what contributions other grains would have and started our flavor grain series.

Each bourbon was mashed and aged exactly the same with only one difference, the middle grain, the small grain or what we call “the flavor grain”.

Sorghum Bourbon (purple label)
61% Arkansas Corn
30% Arkansas Red Sorghum grain
9% malted barley

Barley Bourbon (brown label)
61% Arkansas Corn
30% Arkansas unmalted barley
9% malted barley

This Bourbon was 100% mashed, distilled, aged and bottled by Rock Town Distillery.  We’re makers not fakers.

Each bourbon is bottled at 92 proof / 46% ABV.
