Bourbon Cocktail

2 oz Rock Town Toasted French Oak Finished Bourbon
0.5 oz Toast Simple Syrup**
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 dashes Vanilla Extract
Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass over ice. Stir and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube and garnish with an orange peel.
**Toast Simple Syrup: Toast one piece of white bread and tear into 1 inch pieces before adding to a pot with 1 crushed cinnamon stick, 2 cups of granulated sugar, and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and cool before mesh and then cheesecloth straining.
