Saturday April 15th’s Road Trip festivities include tastings, food trucks, and a ticketed masterclass. The bottle release of this lineup starts on Saturday morning, April 15th at 11am.

Rock Town’s Column Still Collection Masterclass is a guided tasting hosted by founder and head distiller Phil Brandon in the distillery’s barrel house. During the tasting you’ll learn all the details about Rock Town’s new column still collection bourbons, including mashing, fermentation, distillation, aging and finally tasting. The Masterclass will be a seated, guided tasting of four amazing whiskeys, 3 of which are part of the Column Still Collection and 1 which has yet to be bottled, thieved directly from the cask to your glass.

The collection is a collaboration between Rock Town Distillery in Arkansas and Bardstown Bourbon Company in Kentucky, which brings together the best of both worlds. The bourbons in the collection use Arkansas-grown grains, but are distilled in Kentucky, resulting in a unique blend of flavors and aromas.

The Small Batch Straight Bourbon is 92 proof, the Toasted French Oak Finished Straight Bourbon is 100 proof, and the Single Barrel Straight Bourbon is bottled at Cask Strength which is usually around 115 proof.
Yes, all of the bourbons in the collection are aged for at least two years in new, charred oak barrels.
Absolutely! The bourbons in the collection are versatile and can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a variety of cocktails.
The collection was inspired by Rock Town’s desire to meet the growing demand for their bourbon while maintaining the quality and taste that they are known for. The collaboration with Bardstown Bourbon Company allowed them to achieve this goal while also creating a unique line of bourbons.
At this time, the bourbons in the collection are only available for shipping within the United States.

Yes, bottles will be in distribution. Ask your local liquor store if they are going to be carrying any or all of this bourbon collection.
Yes! Food and drink will be available for purchase. Live music and other programming will be free.
We will have our parking lot closed, as a lot of the event activities will be taking place here, but there is a lot of FREE off street parking located all around the distillery (weekend metered parking is free in SoMa).
Yes. We will have someone checking ID’s at the entrance to our parking lot the whole day of the event.
In compliance with our normal animal rules at the distillery, pets are allowed, but must be on a leash, and under constant control by their owners. It is up to the distillery staff if they feel any animal is not behaving and is asked to leave. All pet owners must clean up after their animals at all times.
Regularly run public distillery tours will not be available during the event hours, but the Cocktail Bar and Retail will remain open to all guests 21 and up.
